Hello Crafty Friends! I have another card for you today using the Silky Camilla from Rachel Vass’s July Release! My first card using this design, I used Rachels pre colored image. Well, I just HAD to try to color it myself!
These are the items I used to make this lovely card…
- Rachel Vass Designs Digital Stamp – Silky Camilla
- Ohuhu Markers – BG1, 2, 8/ R20, R120, RV280
- Simon Says Stamp Big Momma Foam Tape
- Simon Says Stamp Postage Set Die
- Simon Says Stamp You Are Enough Die
- Simon Says Stamp Sequins
- Nuvo Tonic Black Velvet Mirror Card Stock
- Neenah Solar White 110 lb Card Stock – Card Base
- Neenah Solar White 80 lb Card Stock
- Gina K Connect Glue
I started by manipulating the design image in Photshop. I added a drop shadow to help the image pop on the white paper. Once I had it where I wanted it, I printed it using my Laser printer onto Neenah Solar White 80 lb Card Stock.
I grabbed my Ohuhu markers and went to town coloring. I am new to alcohol markers, so it is a work in progress as I learn how to use them! Once I had them colored, I used my Simon Says Stamp Postage Set Die to cut them out. I backed it with Simon Says Stamp Big Momma Foam Tape and adhered it to my Neenah Solar White 110 lb Card Stock cade base. I next went to town cutting out the Simon Says Stamp You Are Enough Die. I cut the shadow back out of Nuvo Tonic Black Velvet Mirror Card Stock (which is says Mirror Card Stock but its a beautiful Matte paper) and Neenah Solar White 80 lb Card Stock. I glued it together very carefully (since its a matte card stock) using my Gina K Connect Glue.
I added the Die cut to the panel using my Simon Says Stamp Big Momma Foam Tape to pop it up for some dimension and then added some Simon Says Stamp Sequins from a recent card kit!
