Hello! Rachel Vass recently launched her July release and its beautiful! As part of the design team, I was able to gain access to play with the designs and I made two cards for you today!
The first card I made was from the Silky Camellia set. Inside this beautiful digital group was an image that was already colored by Rachel. I had just recently purchased a colored printer for our home and so I thought what better way to test it out! I loaded the image into photoshop and then added a couple of yellow diamonds to the back ground for interest and then printed it. I used glossy paper which was very hard to photograph! I finished it with a reverse sentiment from the Get Well Reverse Sentiment Strips from Simon Says Stamp and some seafoam jewels.
The next card I used the Tumbling Leaves digital image and this time foiled it on my all time favorite cardstock, Costal Cabana from Stamping Up!. I used some Rose Gold Deco Foil and ran it through my Minc Machine.
My foiling didn’t cover completely, but that’s ok. I liked the rustic look that it gave. I finished it with a Spellbinders Hello Die and a Paper Rose Flutter of Butterflies (its no longer available but this one from Simon Is very similar “Flickering Butterflies”). And viola! Two beautiful cards made for the Rachel Vass July release.
