Simon Says Stamp – STAMPtember Blog Party!

Hello Crafty Friends! I am so excited to be apart of the STAMPtember release from Simon Says Stamp! I was sent the lovely Floral Frames stamp set and I absolutely love this set! Such a great way to make a fun background and pop a frame and sentiment onto it. Easy Peasy! Below is a card I made using this lovely stamp set and be sure to head all the way to the bottom for your blog party exclusive giveaway code!

Here is a list of supplies I used to create this card…

I started by grabbing a piece of A2 sized Neenah Classic Crest 80 lb card stock to emboss using the Vine Canopy background. I lightly misted the cardstock and then I used my Gemini to emboss it. My sandwich is two sheets on Neenah Classic Crest 80 lb card stock, Clear Plate, then the embossing folder with baby inside. This has given me the best results without warping my folders. I sent that aside and got to work on the rest.

I wanted to keep this card pretty monochrome, but wanted a little pretty so I grabbed my Simon Says Stamp Rose Gold Embossing Powder. I used it on the Frame and Sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Floral Frames Set. But I knew I wanted a little more, so I grabbed these butterflies from the Simon Says Clear Stamps LOOK FOR THE RAINBOWS. Once I heat set them, I used the coordinating dies to cut out the butterflies and then fussy cut the frame out. I used the Simon Says Stamp 3D FOAM SQUARES Black And White to add dimension as well as the Simon Says Stamp Big Momma Foam Tape on the back of the frame. I added the embossed panel to a card base and then assembled the card, adding some Little Things From Lucy’s Cards Jewels BRONZE MIX to finish it off.

  1. Both cards are lovely-I like the fall colors of the second card, but the simplicity of the first card is striking.
