Hi Crafty Friends! I have a simple embossing card for you today using some of the new Brutus Monroe Summer Release items!
Here are the items I used to create this card…
- Cardstock
- Stamps
- Embossing
- Markers
- Supplies
This was such an easy and simple card that it could easily be mass produced! I started by stamping the main lemon image onto some Neenah 80 lb Classic Crest with Brutus Monroe Raven Black Ink. I then heat set the image which is something I always do with alcohol ink to ensure it doesn’t smudge. Once it was dry, I grabbed my Ohuhu Alcohol Markers and went to town coloring! I knew I wanted a blue background so to make the image blend a little better I found a blue marker that matched the background color and then very carefully colored the background of the image. I fussy cut this image but there are coordinating dies for purchase!
I set the image aside and grabbed my stamp set. Something I like to do is try to feature some of the smaller stamps that sometimes get over looked. So I grabbed a few and began stamping the panel. Once I had the right amount filled, I sprinkled with Brutus Monroe Alabaster White Embossing Powder. To fill in the space after I heat set, I used a white gel pen to add dot details.
I then built my card up and viola! Card complete. I love the soft blue with the yellow lemons for this card. Be sure to check out the whole bundle of awesome summer cards by clicking here!
