Brutus Monroe – Radiant Rainbows

Hello Crafty Friends! I have a trio of cards for you today using different finishing techniques on top of Chroma Mist from Brutus Monroe!

I started by creating my background panels… Up first, this beautiful tie-dye watercolor feeling background. I cut a panel of Tim Holtz Watercolor card stock and adheres it to my Stamp and Stick Mat. I used all the colors of chroma mist but noble fir. I began but spritzing in rainbow order. When I was done, I added a few spritz of the white. I then set the panel aside to dry! The trick I am finding is to allow these to dry and not move them. I left it right on my Stamp and Stick Mat to dry completely. I dabbed up the excess spray around the edge but then left it alone!

This next card I did my rainbow order in a diagonal and I added the color Noble Fir for some more color variation. I also set this aside to dry fully. To make this card unique, I topped it with the Wendy Vecchi Iridescent Gel. This Medium is really hard to find, but your in luck! Brutus Monore makes a very similar product called Candy Coat and there are two colors currently with this chunky iridescent glitter.

And last, I started this card with purple, to change up the pattern of the rainbow. To change this card up I also topped it with the Chunky Glitter Glaze Silver Moons.

For all the cards I used the Brutus Monroe Radiant Rainbow Stamp Set and stamped them onto Vellum and used heat embossing to make it pop. I also used the coordinating dies to cut out all the images and themed the sentiments around the images I used.

I had so much fun creating these three backgrounds with the same products, but making them unique by adding a little something extra.
