I started by adhering my panel of Brutus Monroe – Not You Mamas Cardstock to my Stamp and Stick mat. I offset the stencil to create a diagonal orientation and then tapped it down using painters tape. I did this because I didn’t want to blend off the edges onto the panel.
I started with my Tidepool ink, and then went rainbow order being sure to blend over the previous color to get a nice blend. I also ended with Tidepool.
I then grabbed my Brutus Monroe – Glitter Glaze Fallen Snow and very carefully swiped it over the inks. I made sure to get the best coverage on the first swipe. These inks are water reactive and I didn’t want them moving too much and get mucked up. I set the panel aside to dry and quickly washed my stencil and mat. I used warm water and spray and foam dish soap to clean these tools. I use a very light circle motion with my hand for the stamp and stick mat.
I then grabbed the Radiant Rainbow stamp set and stamped the largest rainbow in Raven Black Ink and then immediately sprinkled it with Fairy Dust Embossing Powder. I heat set the image for a nice shiny sparkle!
When the panel was dry, I smooshed a little Distress Oxide Ink – Black Soot onto my surface and watered it down. I used a large round brush and flicked the panel with a medium amount of splatter. I let that dry and then built my card.
I used foam tape behind my rainbow and sentiment and adding some Rainbow Fish Pearls to finish the card!
