I haven’t really jumped into alcohol inks, but I have been trying to get really adventurous (for myself) with my products I have on hand. I am always buying the new and shiny and this year, I really want to try and use what I have (with a little new buying!)
So for this, I grabbed the alcohol inks I had on hand and went to town. I started with the Alcohol ink blending solution and adding that to the Yupo paper and then slowly began to add the different colors of ink until I was happy with the amount of ink that was down.
When it was done, I really wanted to add gold veining. However, I was having a hard time getting the deco foil to stick, so instead, I grabbed an embossing pen and started creating veining on my own! Once I was happy I sprinkled the card with SSS – Antique gold powder and then heat set it.
I grabbed the congrats die and cut it out of the Alcohol ink background, as well as three additional times out of Neenah 80lb White card stock. I wanted these letters to pop!
I went to work gluing all of them together and then gluing them onto a card. I added the gold sequins and viola!
