- Neenah Classic Crest 110 lb card stock – card base
I started by using a panel of Simon Says Stamp Mega Thick 130 lb Card stock (which is my favorite for ink blending!). I love this Simon Says Cling Stamp CONCENTRIC DOODLE stamp. Its beautiful red rubber and I have so many ideas to use with it! for this card, I thought it looked like a snowflake, so I stamped it using Simon’s new Simon Says Stamp Ink – Pawsitively Saturated Ink Pad OCEAN ink pad. These inks are completely different than their original line. They are water reactive, juicy, and so so so bright. After I let it dry, I began ink blending using Simon Says Stamp – Large Blending Brushes. I started with SEAFOAM, covering the whole panel, then adding in SURF about half way up, and finishing with OCEAN at the bottom.
I let the panel dry before I inked up the Simon Says Stamps and Dies MERRY CHRISTMAS TREES with Simon Says Stamp Embossing Ink Pad CLEAR INK and White Embossing Powder. I heat set the embossing powder and then added Lucy’s Cards – Vellum Sequins which happened to be some of my favorite sequins. I wanted them to look like snow fall here.
Added the panel to the card base and viola! Oh yeah, I was so excited to create a card that I completely forgot the sentiment, but I liked the card as it was. A simple winter scene to be sent out when the temperature drops.
LOVE LOVE LOVE! Amazing my friend!
