SSS – Delicate Flowers Card

Hello Crafty friends! I have two lovely cards for you today using the Simon Says Cling Stamp DELICATE OUTLINE FLOWERS and Distress Oxide Ink blending!

Here is a list of the supplies I used…

I started by using a 6 X 6 panel of Simon Says Stamp MEGA THICK WHITE CARDSTOCK 130 lb for the ink blending. This is my absolute favorite paper to blend Distress Oxide Inks on. Its so very smooth! I started with Distress Oxide Ink – Twisted Citron and then Salvaged Patina, and finished with Wilted Violet. I really love the colors that blended in between each of the colors. That Salvaged Patina and Twisted Citron is stunning! I used my heat gun and set the color until it was dry.

Next I dusted my panel with an embossing buddy and stamped the Simon Says Cling Stamp DELICATE OUTLINE FLOWERS and embossed it in Simon Says Stamp White Embossing Powder. I heat set it, and while the stamp was still in my Misti I inked it up using my Gina K Amalgam Ink and stamped on my Neenah Solar White 80 lb cardstock for the background.

I then cut the inked background out using my Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle Dies. In doing this, I was able to get a nice border for a second card (See Below!)

I cut out the CZ Design HELLO Wafer Die using Simon Says Stamp Vellum for the shadow part and Simon Says Stamp Card Stock ASSORTED HOLOGRAPHIC for the hello. I finished the card with some Lucy’s Cards Vellum Sequins and viola! Scroll down to see the second card I made using the “scraps!”
