Hello! I found a card that I accidently forgot to post when it was release time, so here I am now posting it! I was sent this Embossing folder from Simon for their Rainbows Release. Its called the Roseville Bouquet Embossing folder and its STUNNING! I have made multiple cards using various techniques *see previous blog posts*
For this one, I used the technique that is really popular right now. Taking a brayer and adding ink to the debossed (valley) side of the folder. I used the Tim Holtz Brayer. I pulled out my Tattered Rose Distress Oxide and got to work rolling the ink away! Once I received the desired coverage, I placed my cardstock into the folder and ran it through my Gemini.
To create different visual aspect, I cut .25 around two of the sides and then cut the image a little more than half. I then backed it with a soft gray color and adhered it to the card.
I love the simplicity of this card! Be sure to check out previous posts using this lovely Roseville Bouquet Embossing folder.
