Hello! I am back at it with another card using the Garden Greetings July Card Kit! One of my favorite things to do is to cut the images out of patterned paper and re purpose them.
I started off using a Brutus Monroe Rainbow Stencil and flipped it upside down to create this Art Deco feel. I grabbed my Barn Door Distress Oxide Ink and a blending brush to add ink to this black cardstock panel. Once I had the ink where I wanted it, I still have the gold ink pad out from my card I made previous, so I grabbed a coordinating sponge dauber and kissed different areas of the stencil with gold. I love how this came it! It reminds me of a velvet painting in visual texture.
I then added some bright red glitter cardstock behind some lovely red, cut out a few of the florals from one of the included patterned papers from the Paper Rose Forever pack and some jewels!
