Hello! I have another card for you today using the July Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp! Included in this kit was a BRAND NEW AND BEAUTIFUL Blossom Field embossing folder! So naturally, I had to break out my Distress Oxide Sprays and Distress Watercolor Paper.
For this one, I started by going direct to dry paper with Cracked Pistachio and Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Sprays. I started with the Lucky Clover then followed up with the Cracked Pistachio. I then let the panel air dry to work its magic!
Once it was mostly dry, but still damp, I ran it through my Gemini using the Blossom Field embossing folder. Using it while the paper was slightly damp gave me the most beautiful embossed panel!
I then grabbed my Gold Pigment Ink Pad and ever so slightly ran it over the embossed image to KISS it with ink.
I had a coordinating cardstock color and layered a punched out circle with vellum and edged the green cardstock with gold ink as well and added a happy birthday sentiment from the Garden Greetings Stamp Set. I love being able to make these milestone birthday cards for special individuals!
