Hello again! I have another card that I am sharing today using the Roseville Bouquet Embossing Folder from the Simon Says Stamp Rainbow Release!
For this card, I used my Distress Oxide Inks in the following colors:
I began buy blending the distress oxide inks onto a piece of Simon Says Stamp 130 lb Ultra Thick cardstock. This is some of my faovrite paper to blend on as its super smooth! I started with Tattered Rose Oxide Ink in the middle and softly blended it out, making sure to focus on the florals with the pink. I then moved to Frayed Burlap Oxide Ink and created a halo coloring around the pink, ensuring that it was blending. I alterenated the blending colors until I was happy. Finally, I finished it up with a dusting of Speckled Egg Oxide Ink around the edges just to give it a little peekaboo moment.
Allowing it to dry, I then ran it through the Roseville Bouquet Embossing Folder, making sure that when it embossed that the blended side was going towards the part that was debossed in the folder. This ensures that the image will pop up! I trimmed the image down to 5.25 X 4.
To add a little drama, I used my Black Soot Distress Oxide Spray and unscrewed it, tapping the straw over my card front. I also used my Tonic Nuvo Antique Gold Mica Spray (which no longer sprays, but I find better control unscrewing it and tapping it!).
I finsihed the card by adding it to a Neenah 110 lb card base, added a reverse sentiment from the Encouraging Words pack, as well as Bronze Nuvo Drops.
