Hello! I am new to Alcohol Markers and still learning how they work. In order to become comfortable with them, I purchased Ohuhu markers from Amazon. I have seen a couple people use markers to color a background, so I thought, why not emboss the image and make it pop! I am using the Simon Says Stamp Roseville Bouquet again today for their Rainbows Release. (this product was sent to me to play with!).
I started by using a light blue color and colored the whole background. I then went in with a medium blue and began to blend. I worked in small sections so the marker wouldn’t dry to quickly. I then finished with a darker blue closer to the embossed image. After that, I used the lightest gray to add a little depth to the three main florals. I see here in my photos that this looks much darker on camera! Its hardly noticible in person. I then wanted to add a little more interest so I used the colorless blender to add little dots all around the image.
While not perfect, I am really loving this style of card! And the beautiful image of the Roseville Bouquet should be celebrated!
