Hello! I am so thankful to be apart of the new release from Simon Says Stamp called “Rainbows“. Simon sent me the beautiful Roseville Bouquet to play with and make beaautiful cards to share with you today! I ended up making four beauties.
Starting with this beautiful card where I used Distress Oxide Sprays on Distress Watercolor paper after embossing it with the Roseville Bouquet.
I used the colors Seedless Preserves, Mustard Seed and Salvaged Patina. I sprayed away until my heart was content! When I felt like the color looked good, I took my Nuvo Antique Gold Mica Spray and tapped the straw on my finger after unscrewing it. One of the things you have to remember with distress sprays is to let it be. This looked completely different when I stopped spraying vs. when I came back to it later. It’s a completely different look! I love how this looked like I layered paint on top of each other.
I love how the color gathered around the image!
I added a gold frame and a Sentiment from the Reverse Sentiment from the Encouraging Words set. Love these sprays and cannot wait to try a few different ideas!
