Hello! Today I am bringing you another card using the beautiful Floral Centerpiece Embossing Folder!
Something I have noticed that is all the rage lately is using strips of paper glued down to create a stripped background, die, anything! One thing I haven’t seen yet is where someone made the background, and then embossed it. So, here we are!
I used the SSS Strips 1 die set, pulling out the smaller of the two included dies to cut various strips of an array of colored cardstock. I then adhered them to a piece of Stick It adhesive in a diagonal pattern. I then cut the panel down to A2 sized and ran it through the Floral Centerpiece Embossing Folder, making sure that the raised portion of the folder was on the bottom of the panel. After, I did decided to trim the panel slightly to give it a white border when I adhered it to the card front.
Next, I ran a piece of white cardstock through and then made sure to cut a portion of it out that was more towards the top. I wanted to make sure that the images lined up seamlessly, as if I embossed them together.
I then pulled out my Like You stamps and some white pearls and finished it off! I really love how the embossing came out on this beautiful rainbow beauty! Have you tried the paper strip technique?
Here are some other cards that I made using the same embossing folder!
