Hello! I had so many extra flowers and leaves left over from the card I made using the Painted Floral Wreath Stencil (Original card located here!) that I needed to use them up! So I thought, instead of creating a background using stamps, what if I used these florals that I cut out? So I went to work laying them out to create this “patterned paper” feel.
I first layed out all the bigger florals, being sure to keep the “rule pf threes” in mind. Then I began filling and adjusting with the smaller florals and leaves. Once I had them all situated, I went to work gluing them using Gina K Connect Glue. Once they were dry, I took a paid of sharp scissors and trimmed the ones that were hanging over the edge.
I then cut out the Miss You Die, cutting the white background out 4 times to give it some lift and glues them all together. I also made sure not to loose the tittle!
After gluing the die one, I thought it needed a little more, so I used my Hero Arts Nesting Dies in Rectangle to create a border by taping two of the dies together making sure they were centered to create an even frame. Glued that one and VIOLA! Finished! Love how the background looks, and such a diverse way to use the stencils.
