Hello there! Today I am bringing you this beautiful teal colored card that came to me one day while I was pondering card designs. I am absolutely in love with the colors. Teal is one of my favorite colors so this card is so pleasing to my eye. My friends know this color as “Jessie Blue” because its literally everything to me.
I first started by stamping one of the florals from the Simon Says Stamp Best Friend Ever multiple times using Versamark Ink on a dark teal paper and then heat embossing it in white. I like to prep the surface using an antistatic powder. After I set the embossing powder, I used a copic marker BG75 to add some dimension to the florals.
I then used the coordinating dies from the SSS Best Friend Ever set and cut out the florals. For this card, I cut out 4 images and began gluing them onto this lighter teal colored cardstock. After I had them arranged the way I liked, I then cut off any overhanging florals and used any of the extra pieces to fill in the blank space around the images.
I finished the card using the SSS Hang in there die. I cut it out 3 times and stacked the letters on to of each other to give it more depth before adhering it to the front of my card using Gina K’s Connect Glue. I then used Wink of Stella Clear on top of the sentiment for added shine. Finished the card with some beautiful white pearls and viola!
I really love how this card turned out and thinking I need to make a few more in different colors.
